Bermuda Police To Hold Community Meetings

The Bermuda Police Service invites Sandys and Southampton residents to upcoming community meetings to discuss policing initiatives and hear local concerns.

A spokesperson said, “Western Area Commanders of the Bermuda Police Service [BPS] invite residents of Southampton and Sandys parishes to attend the following scheduled community meetings.”

  • Sandys parish residents: 6-8pm Tuesday, 10th June 2025, at St. James Church Hall.
  • Southampton parish residents: 6-8pm Wednesday, 18th June 2025, at Vernon Temple Church Hall.

Inspector Cerepha Bridgeman, Second-in-Charge of Somerset Police Station stated, “We look forward to meeting with as many Sandys parish and Southampton parish residents as possible at each meeting. Our goal is to promote open dialogue, where we can share updates on policing initiatives and also hear directly from area residents.”

The spokesperson said, “The first meeting in this series was held with Warwick parish residents on 30th April 2025, from 6-8pm, at St. Mary’s Church Hall.”
